The Hides and Skins Exports submitted by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat), for the month of February 2016, recorded the amount of US$ 196.468, which means an increase of 0.6% over the same month of the past year, when exports totaled US$ 195.358 million. Regarding January, there was also an increase, but more significant, 28.9%, when the total exports was US$ 152.458.

As for the amount of hides, considering only the cattle hides, in February were shipped 3.549 million units, 22.4% over January and 41.6% higher than in February last year, when total was 2.506.
