After being presented in Milan and Hong Kong, the Brazilian exhibition Design na Pele now travels to Vietnam. It will be a part of the fair Shoes and Leather Vietnam, which takes place between July 13th and 15th.

Design na Pele has promoted exclusive consultancies with designer Ronaldo Fraga and artist Heloísa Crocco in 12 Brazilian tanneries, an initiative promoted by the Brazilian Leather project, coordinated by CICB (the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry) in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

From the workshops conducted by Ronaldo and Heloisa – who met in loco the creative possibilities of every single tannery –, unique leather articles were developed to make up the exhibition. Chairs, clothes, lamps, panels, shoes and many other articles were created in bovine and special leather through a detailed work flow, showcasing the high creative potential of leather made in Brazil.

This is Design na Pele’s second edition. Initiated in 2013, the project has been celebrated across Brazil and the world as one of the most successful initiatives regarding design, culture and art within the leather segment. This is the project’s official website: www.desinnapele.com.br
