Brazilian leather will be at New York exhibition

Première Vision New York’s next edition takes place between July 19 and 20. Six Brazilian companies will be there presenting their products with support from Brazilian Leather, an initiative of CICB (the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry) in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) for the promotion of local leather in the international market.

The event’s location, as well as its strategic audience (around 4 thousand professionals, most of them from the U.S.), are pointed out by Cortume Krumenauer’s director, Joel Krummenauer, as one of the most relevant factors for his participation at Première Vision Leather for the second time. “It’s an event located around the offices of several major fashion brands. This reason alone will certainly attract interesting clients”, says Joel Krumenauer. His company is specialized in leather for the footwear and artifact sectors.

This will be the 33rd edition of Première Vision New York, the second one to bring an exhibition dedicated to leather. This time the event is focused on trends for the Fall/Winter 2017-2018 on the Northern hemisphere.

The Brazilian Leather project will also take to Première Vision articles from Preview do Couro, based on a series of skins developed by Brazilian tanneries to anticipate future fashion trends. Preview do Couro has already proved itself to be an important tool not only for research, but also to generate business for Brazilian companies.
