The 33rd edition of Première Vision New York has left Brazilian tanneries surprised. After all, it is only the second time the event is open to the exhibition of leather and skins, and business have exceeded every expectation.

Première Vision New York took place between July 19th and 20th. The Brazilian participation at the event saw five companies and the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) showcasing their articles with the support from Brazilian Leather, project coordinated by CICB in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) for the promotion of leather exports.

Cássia Giseli Harth, research and development manager at Couros Bom Retiro, says Première Vision was highly positive for business and regarding specific issues such as exhibitor support, organization and networking. “We were taken by surprise by the number and quality of visitors. We made great contacts”, she adds.

This edition of Première Vision New York was dedicated to materials destined to the development of 2017/2018 Autumn/Winter collections in the Northern hemisphere. The event welcomed more than 4 thousand visitors, most of them designers.

The Brazilian Leather project also took to the event articles from Preview do Couro (Preview do Couro), made of an exclusive collection of hides developed by Brazilian tanneries and focused on anticipating fashion trends.
