The
leathers that will be in 2019 fashion collections will soon be presented
exclusively at Inspiramais 2019_II. The event will be held July 17th and 18th
at the Pro Magno Events Center (Ida Kolb Avenue, 513, Casa Verde), in São Paulo
(SP), with 14 tanneries showing their assertive and creative developments for
the upcoming year, in addition to other companies in the component sector for
the fashion segment. The event is organized by the Centre for the Brazilian
Tanning Industry (CICB), Assintecal, By Brasil Components and Chemicals, and
the Brazilian Leather project, a partnership between the CICB and the Brazilian
Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) to incentivize leather
exports.
The central
theme of this edition of Inspiramais is "Alchemical Meetings Make
Fashion". Among the tanneries, there is a very wide variety of hides on
display at the event: there will be bovine hides (from classic to stylized,
with various prints and textures) and also some exotic hides, such as python
and fish. All the products are the result of extensive research, so they are
precise leathers aimed at the work of designers of shoes, handbags,
accessories, clothing and designer furniture.
In addition
to each company's individual stands, Inspiramais is also recognized for
presenting a qualified schedule of parallel events. One of this year's
highlights will be the signing ceremony for the renovation of the Brazilian
Leather and By Brasil Components and Chemicals projects - partnerships between
the CICB and Assintecal, respectively, and Apex-Brasil, happening on the first
day of Inspiramais (the 17th) at 7:00 p.m. There is also a special schedule of
free lectures during and even collective trend showings. One of these shows is
the Leather Preview, which highlights hides produced with a preliminary view of
the upcoming season and are usually worked on by designers. After Inspiramais,
the projects heads out to the world to be presented at Brazilian Leather
project booths at fairs in Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai amongst others.
