From May 05th to 8th, the Brazilian leather industry will be be present in one of the most celebrated furniture and interior design events in Europe: Interzum. The event takes place in Cologne, Germany. Leather made in Brazil will be represented in the event by The Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and other four leather processing companies, who will be showing the quality of our articles to architects and buyers from the worldwide furniture industry, who visit the exhibition in search of latest news.
The exhibition of leather made in Brazil at Interzum is one of the strategic actions under Brazilian Leather, a sectoral project dedicated to the sector’s international promotion, managed by CICB in partnership with Apex-Brasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
In this edition, executive president of CICB, José Fernando Bello, expects US$ 3 million to be generated in business. “Interzum is one of the most relevant events for the companies that produce leather for the international furniture segment. CICB’s presence, among this four other companies, shows that we are also competitive within this sector”, says Bello.
