Hides and skins exports presented by SECEX (Foreign Trade Secretariat) for the month of June 2015 registered a value of US$ 196.292 million, which means a decrease of 20.2% over the same month last year, when exports totaled US$ 245.983 million.

It was also a decrease compared to the previous month, when value was US$ 205.761. As for the amount of hides, considering only the cattle hides, in June it was shipped 2.691 million pieces, an increase of 4.4% compared to May, when total was 2.579 million.
